Hot and cold water ‘on tap’, instantly

Heatrae Sadia says that, with plentiful drinking water ‘vital to maintaining health and well-being’, and access to instant boiling water a feature that can ‘save valuable time and money’ in staff rooms or busy catering kitchens, its Aquatap dispensing system – available in versions that offer ‘boiling’, ‘boiling and chilled’, or ‘boiling and ambient’ water – provides the ideal solution.
The company added: “Aquatap’s patented Intelliboil hot water management system controls the boiling cycle for improved efficiency. Water is boiled in response to usage. After an hour’s inactivity the maximum stored water temperature reduces from 100°C to 90°C, saving energy until being used again – when the boiling cycle automatically resumes. The Programmable Timer accessory ensures even greater economy.” The ‘cool-to-the-touch’ dispensing tap can be located onto an existing sink, or, using the optional drip tray accessory, installed securely onto a counter top. The boiling water safety switch prevents accidental boiling water delivery, while the LED indicator illuminates when boiling water is dispensed. An overboil protection system gives ‘complete peace of mind’. The UK-made, chromed tap can instantly dispense 30 cups/20 mugs of boiling water at any one time. A simple extension accessory enables filling of jugs, flasks, and cafetieres. The Aquatap’s three models can also be supplied with a filter system. Reliability is ‘built in’, with the integral scale inhibitor prolonging gaps between maintenance.
