February 2010
A management team consisting of Adrian Parkin and Jim Liptrot has purchased the Howorth Air Technology business from PricewaterhouseCoopers. The company name remains Howorth Air Technology Ltd, with the business now privately owned and funded.

It supplies products ranging from ultra-clean operating theatre ventilation systems to lighting and ceiling service units, filters, and HVAC systems, to healthcare facilities. Adrian Parkin is a director of Howorth Air Technology, and was previously a director of Howorth Airtech. Howorth’s former financial director, David Fisher, has also rejoined the team. All key staff, suppliers, and subcontractors have been retained, and Howorth says it is able to offer a complete and unbroken service to its healthcare sector customers. Adrian Parkin, the new MD, said: “The last few months have been difficult, and the transition to a new business is never without its challenges. However, we are convinced the worst is behind us, and that Howorth has a great future.”
