February 2010
The “Programma Cap” bathroom fitting range launched by Häfele UK is said to allow designers to create bathrooms “for everyone in society”, with a range that includes grab rails and shower seats that disappear from view when not required by the user.

Designed and manufactured in Italy, the Cap range include grab rails which fold away into the wall when not in use; these can be used with plasterboard or brick walls. A full set of rails recommended in Document M of the Building Regulations is also available, along with shower seats, curtain rails, and soap dishes. All are patented and fully tested to European safety standards The Cap range is made from extruded aluminium, and has a powder coat finish “highly resistant to chemicals for easy cleaning”. Standard finishes are white or slate grey, with other special RAL colours available on request.
