Specialist in nurse call, bedhead services, fire alarm, and communications systems, Static Systems invites visitors to Healthcare Estates 2014 to join its staff for a cup of coffee on stand C5, where they will be able to more about the company’s latest innovations.
Based on ‘excellent feedback received at last year’s Healthcare Estates event’, the company’s product specialists, designers, and software engineers, have been ‘busy introducing new solutions for use specifically within acute, mental healthcare, and community hospitals’.
Static Systems said: “Modern healthcare environments are complex, and naturally the nurse call system needs to meet the challenge of differing clinical and patient demands and management styles.”
The latest Static Systems range comprises four distinct Fusion-IP products to allow users to choose the most appropriate solution – Ultima, Optima, Codem, and Aspire.
Ultima has been designed ‘to provide the ultimate bedside structured wired IP solution’, and is targeted at acute and specialist hospitals, and in particular new build schemes. Optima is also fully structured wired, and ‘well suited to new build and refurbishments in acute and specialist hospitals if full IP to the bed is not required’.
Codem is an IP-based ward upgrade solution that can take advantage of existing wiring, ‘for minimum disruption on site, and cost-saving benefits’, while Aspire is a wireless nurse call solution ‘ideally suited to lower acuity environments, or as a temporary system for use during ward upgrades’.
To complement its call solutions, Static Systems will show for the first time a new generation of software-based products ‘designed to ensure that the Fusion range of healthcare communication and fire alarm systems remain ahead of the field in supporting patients and hospital staff through enhanced working practices’. Staff will also be able to provide details on support, service, and maintenance, newly introduced service packages, engineer training courses, and CPD-accredited seminars., and explain how, as a preferred supplier, the company is responding to the P21+ cost reduction and standardisation initiative with solutions for its Modus and Ventura bedhead services trunking.
Static Systems added: “Of particular interest to staff working within the secure sector is a new flush mount fire detector and anti-vandal break glass mount, call equipment, and staff attack alarm system."
