Designed to specific user requirements, these integrated controls seamlessly incorporate the various functions in theatre environments into one touchscreen interface control panel, allowing ease of use for theatre staff, and ‘ultimate flexibility’ in terms of features and functionality for new and refurbishment theatre projects.
Bender TCPs have been continually developed to include wall-mount touchscreen controls and the incorporation of DICOM-compliant PACS screen displays. These provide simple control of third-party elements such as medical gas alarms, surgical lights, laser controls, operating tables, and laminar flow canopies.
Bender TCPs can incorporate features such as an anti-microbial silver nitrate coating, enabling safe and reliable control even when hospital staff wear surgical gloves. Functionality also extends to Bluetooth incorporation for music feeds into the theatre.
The company added: “The outstanding infection control offered by wipe-clean touchscreen panels is now well established, and they can more easily enable future upgrades in equipment and services.”
