Electrical safety specialist, Bender UK – which supplies products ranging from UPS and IPS systems to surgical tables, and from clinical pendants to operating room integration systems – is to expand into a new purpose-built corporate headquarters and service centre close to its current head office in Ulverston, South Cumbria.
The new headquarters, which it is aiming to complete by early 2016, will accommodate sales and customer service personnel, and the technical service teams who configure bespoke applications of Bender technology, support customers on site, and manage maintenance requirements.
Bender UK MD, Steve Mason, explained: “The new base will offer enormous advantages in terms of the effectiveness of our staff, and the service we can offer customers. We know precisely what our customers require, and have also laid out plans for expanding services and capitalising on new markets.
“We have also been steadily increasing our network of service operators supporting customers 24/7 across the country. That recruitment will continue, so it is vital we have the space to enable the necessary training and upskilling.”
