Static Systems’ stand (C3) at Healthcare Estates promises to be a hive of activity yet again this year.
As well as learning about Static’s nurse call solutions, bedhead services trunking and fire alarm systems, visitors will be able to take a Health and Wellbeing Check-up and book to visit the company’s much talked about Design and Innovation Centre (D&IC) near Wolverhampton.
Although the majority of nurse call systems are now ‘IP based’, not all systems are created equal and this is an opportunity to learn more.
Static’s Fusion-IP Ultima is focusing on the advantages to engineers in choosing a true end-to-end IP nurse call solution that meets with international IP/LAN standards, such as 802.3af (for PoE) and TIA/EIA-568-C (Ethernet).
On show for the first time, and designed specifically for use by engineering teams, will be the ‘Ultima-Touch’ Engineer Indicator with advanced fault notification options.
To encourage personal wellbeing, clinicians will be available on the stand to undertake biometric testing including body fat, total body water, metabolic rate and blood pressure. Participants will also receive a DIY Health Guide Booklet to help with understanding their results as well as providing practical and simple advice on how to improve their scores.
“As an employer we actively encourage employees to recognise the importance of taking steps to ensure a healthy lifestyle. Take-up at our recent health-check day was high and we see Healthcare Estates as a good opportunity to extend the initiative to clients,” said Static Systems’ Director of Marketing, Phil Wade.
Static’s Design & Innovation Centre (D&IC), which features a full sized replica four bed bay based upon one of the Procure 21+ Repeatable Ward designs, is the first of its kind in the UK and is attracting interest and comment throughout the healthcare sector.
A video preview and animation of the ward will be featured on the stand. “We, along with some of our specialist suppliers, have invested time and thought in the centre and are keen to share the replica ward with healthcare professionals and other interested parties. Clients on our stand will be able to arrange to visit the exemplar ward to get an accurate experience of what Repeatable Wards look like,” added Phil Wade.
