The new BeaconMedæs TotalAlert Infinity Notification System complies with the standard requirements of HTM 02-01, and incorporates additional features to improve the set-up and continuous monitoring of the medical gas supply. The company says it can thus become ‘an integral part of any facility’s emergency action plan’.
The notification system can display customised instructions on the alarm screen to help eliminate confusion during emergency actions. Using the TotalAlert Infinity Ethernet connection, users can replicate signals from one TotalAlert Infinity alarm panel to another located elsewhere in or outside the facility – ensuring the right instruction gets to the Right Person at the Right Time during a medical gas emergency.
The second new product, the BeaconMedæs LifeLine Manifold, again fully complies with the HTM 02-01, and includes an advanced controller to allow precise monitoring of the system’s status via clear digital display. Data shown typically includes digital pressure readings, alarm status, and remaining volume in cylinders. The BeaconMedæs LifeLine Manifold supports different alarms and notification systems, allowing for connection without additional converters or adaptors. The manifolds are compact, sufficiently flexible to meet a range of installation needs, and offer superior performance.
