Construction and engineering specialist, MTX Contracts, moved in late March to new premises at Brooke Court in Handforth, Cheshire, following 30 years at its previous site in High Lane, Stockport.
MTX works on a nationwide basis, both in England and Wales, providing hospitals with clinical accommodation in the form of new-build projects, and offsite construction, and is also extensively involved in the remodelling and refurbishment of existing hospital departments. Among its regular customers in the north-west of England are Manchester Royal Infirmary, Stepping Hill Hospital, and Macclesfield District General Hospital; MTX has provided a variety of operating theatre and ward accommodation for the Trusts operating these hospitals
The move to Brooke Court represents an investment of almost £1 million, and will allow the business to continue to grow and prosper. David Hartley, commercial director, said: “This is a very exciting time for MTX, and the next chapter in our history. The new offices provide us with a fabulous environment to work from, and to welcome new customers to, while also giving us space for expansion. Their location is also superb, with great connections to road and rail networks, which is key to attracting new talent.”
MTX says it will continue to focus on the healthcare sector, while also continuing to seek opportunities in other markets to ensure stability and sustained growth.
