Trust ARI for economical solutions in healthcare

ARI-Armaturen UK Ltd will once again be exhibiting at the Healthcare Estates Exhibition (stand E29) this year, where they will proudly present a range of economical solutions for healthcare estates and facilities. Specialising in control, isolation, safety and steam trapping, ARI offers an impressive range of valves, steam traps and engineered systems.

Providing various products, ARI-Armaturen works with hospitals all over the UK to help achieve low maintenance solutions offering maximum sustainability, optimum efficiency, reliability and energy savings.

ARI’s premium triple offset isolation valve – ZETRIX – will be on the stand set up as a double block and bleed arrangement. Boasting zero leakage and emissions, the ZETRIX valve provides guaranteed isolation (conforming to leakage rate A in accordance with DIN EN 12266-1) and is suitable for liquids, gases and vapours. The block and bleed system offers the only proved isolation, in accordance with HSE guidance 253 (Safe Isolation of Plant and Equipment) which states that double block and bleed is greatest in the hierarchy of mechanical security for isolation methods.

The ENCOsys will be featured – a compact, low maintenance steam-to-water plate heat exchanger designed to provide hot water instantaneously up to 2100Kw. This proficient heating and hot water system can offer considerable savings in energy and cost when compared to more traditional systems such as shell and tube calorifiers. The clever design means there is no need for a water storage vessel, which can be a potential breeding place for Legionella and other bacteria. Hospitals with these systems installed benefit from vast improvements to operating efficiency with reduced heat loss from equipment, improved temperature control as well as better thermal efficiency, all resulting in savings in energy and cost. One the most significant savings however, is that (unlike shell and tube heat exchangers) the ENCOsys does not need to be stripped down for insurance inspections resulting in further cost savings and dramatically reduced health and safety risks associated with this work.

Also on display will be the CONA Control – a smart device designed to test all onsite steam traps and eliminate unnecessary steam or energy loss. With reports showing that around 22% of steam that leaves boilers in a plant is lost via leaking traps and that a 3mm orifice under a pressure of 7 bar/100 psi can result in the loss of 25 tonnes of steam per annum, the CONA Control is a great tool for keeping boiler plant costs down, improving efficiency and reducing the risk of safety hazards caused by blockages in a steam system.

A wide range of impressive valves and steam traps for control, isolation, safety and steam trapping will also be featured on the stand.
