Vanguard Healthcare, ‘popularly known as the world’s leading provider of pop-up hospitals’, will showcase ‘international best practice’ at the 2014 Health Estates and Facilities Management (HefmA) National Conference and exhibition at the Brighton Metropole Hotel (15 and 16 May).
Executives from Vanguard will exhibit at the event and discuss their experience of working with healthcare estates and facilities management teams across the UK, Nordics, Benelux and Italy, exploring the best practice techniques they have developed.
“The HefmA event provides a great platform to engage with senior healthcare estates figures,” said Mary Smallbone, Operations and Marketing Director. “We look forward to discussing how hospitals can protect capacity and patient care during a refurbishment or reconfiguration by partnering with a CQC-registered mobile healthcare facility supplier.
“In 2012 we worked closely with our Dutch healthcare colleagues to understand the major restructuring of the healthcare sector there. We have since developed a strong portfolio across Europe, answering specific countries’ needs.
“Some of the challenges relate to regulatory compliance requirements, including different pre-requisites associated with medical gas pipeline systems. Most of Europe requires CE marking of the MPGS, which we have worked hard to obtain. Only by working alongside businesses within the UK and mainland Europe have we been able to achieve the individual country regulatory and compliance requirements.”
