Authorising Engineers Conference and Exhibition
Following on from the highly successful Authorising Engineers Conference in 2025, Leading the Standard, we are back with Implementing the Standard, sponsored by ETA Projects.
The conference builds on last year’s outcomes, providing updates on the recently signed NHS agreement and its implications for Authorising Engineers (AEs). A key focus is the implementation of robust governance arrangements, with clear evidence and recording of competency at individual and contractor levels to support compliance, assurance and patient safety.
The programme will feature updates from IHEEM’s Technical Platforms, highlighting current priorities, emerging challenges and evolving standards across key disciplines including Fire Safety, the newly established Lifts Technical Platform, and Medical Engineering. Sessions will explore the expanding role of the AE in supporting healthcare organisations, provide guidance on what to expect when applying to become an Authorising Engineer or seeking Professional Registration, and examine the opportunities and challenges presented by emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.
Register now to learn more about the latest developments affecting Authorising Engineers, gain valuable insights from industry experts, and network with peers from across the healthcare engineering sector.
