This year at the HeƒmA annual event Haigh says it is looking forward to demonstrating the Quattro pulp macerator and ‘its many advantages for infection control and drain flow’
The company said: “The Quattro from Haigh is a pulp macerator that builds on over 50 years of engineering, manufacturing and, specifically, maceration expertise. Infection control is at the heart of its design, with smooth lines, and elimination of dirt traps, while the ABS plastic and rubber surfaces incorporate built-in Biomaster anti-bacterial technology – for lifetime protection against bacteria growth. Its small footprint also takes up less space in the sluice room, making it easy to clean around.
“Another key aspect of its design,” the company continued, “is controlled particle discharge – to ensure drains keep flowing, with pulp output controlled through gradual release, eliminating the risk of foreign objects entering the drain. With the Premium Flow feature, meanwhile, at the precise moment in the cycle when the most pulp is discharged, water is diverted to flush the drain outlet and keep it flowing.” The Quattro boasts a life expectancy ‘of over 10 years’.
