Following the successful launch of what it claims is ‘the most advanced wireless nurse call system on the market’, Aid Call says it was keen to engage with industry specialists and new customers to understand just how it could further enhance the product to improve the delivery of care in the hospital environment.
The company said: “The culmination of such feedback has resulted in a unique feature that is only available on our new Touchsafe Pro system. Driven by feedback from healthcare staff, the bed status monitoring facility comes as standard on all new system installations. Using a locally sited call point, a nurse can update the status of a corresponding hospital bed to indicate that it is either occupied, available, or to be cleaned. It is then possible to view the status of all beds through the main control panel. This directs the necessary services to the beds that need cleaning, and allows nurses to instantly see how many beds are available for new patients without having to leave the nurses’ station.”
