Bristan has added to its extensive commercial specification offering with the launch of two new TMV2-approved bath shower mixers
‘Combining a sleek, chrome design with technological innovation’, the Assure and Design Utility Lever bath shower mixers incorporate a TMV2-approved mixing valve; water is reduced to a safe temperature at the point of use by mixing the hot and cold water supplies, while dual control means the flow and temperature of the shower and bath can be maintained separately. Bristan added: “As TMV2-accredited products, the Assure and Design Utility Lever bath shower mixers will automatically shut off should hot or cold water supply fail, They are factory set to 38˚C, to prevent users selecting an unsafe temperature. The setting can only be overridden by the operator to a safe maximum temperature of 44˚C for bath fill applications.”
Both designs boast a slim, low profile, while the Design Utility Lever model also includes a lever – enabling ease of use for environments such as hospitals and care homes. The new bath shower mixers are both constructed of brass, and designed to conform to BS EN 200.
