Luxo has supplied 286 of its specially designed Air Modular task lights to London’s UCL Cancer Institute, which undertakes “leading edge” research in biomedicine, for use throughout the facility.
Student research enlightened
The lighting specified needed to provide a comfortable and pleasant, yet business-like working environment for students while aiding effective research. Desks used by the students were supplied by Tsunami Axis East from St Neots in Cambridgeshire, which also installed the lights – supplied in both desk and wall-mounted form. The latter were supplied with a special bracket for fixing to partitions.
