An upcoming conference – Next steps for the NHS estate in England – will examine the next steps for the NHS estate and the development of new hospitals in England.
To be held on Monday 9 March, the online conference – organised by the Westminster Health Forum – will examine a range of topics including:
- Government funding plans & targeting
- Community infrastructure & local healthcare delivery
- Next steps for the hospital estate
- Digital transformation & interoperability
- Workforce & patient-centric design
- Sustainability & net zero
Key speakers include:
- Charlotte Taylor CBE – Joint SRO, New Hospital Programme, Department of Health and Social Care
- Lord Hutton – Chair, Association of Infrastructure Investors in Public Private Partnerships
- Dr Evangelia Chrysikou – Associate Professor, Founder and Programme Director of the MSc Healthcare Facilities, Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction, University College London
- Kieran Kinsella – Executive Director, Advisory Service, NHS Property Services
All delegates will be able to contribute to the output of the conference, which will be shared with parliamentary, ministerial, departmental, and regulatory offices, and more widely.
