Brighton will see the return to HEFMA of Vanguard Healthcare’s mobile operating theatre – one of 24 sophisticated vehicles which make up the UK fleet.
Vanguard moves with the times
“This year’s theme of choices, challenges and
changes is the perfect platform for us to discuss with estate professionals how mobiles can help them to get the very best use from
any NHS site,” said sales and marketing director Mary Smallbone. “The recent
edict for NHS Trusts not to dispose of their community hospitals is the latest
example of the endemic change to which the healthcare sector is subject. “The
estates team is moving centre stage when it comes to producing coherent plans
for delivering the choice agenda. We have highly flexible mobile operating
theatres, day wards, outpatient units and endoscopy suites which give the
estate professional a whole new toolkit capable of producing solutions which
can move with the changing times.”
