The Engineering Council’s 2013 survey of professionally registered engineers and technicians indicates that those holding Engineering Technician (EngTech), Incorporated Engineer (IEng), and Chartered Engineer (CEng) titles are still enjoying pay increases and low levels of unemployment.
Since the last survey in 2010, registrants have seen a rise in median total earnings of 8.1 per cent for Engineering Technicians, 5.1 per cent for Incorporated Engineers, and 14.5 per cent for Chartered Engineers.
