With ‘grab and go’ food and drink sales an increasing phenomenon in hospitals, Williams will show its latest Multideck merchandisers, designed to offer an attractive retail display while ensuring food is always available.
The company said: “A critical element with ‘grab and go’ is food safety – the refrigeration system must maintain temperature consistently throughout the cabinet. While we set new standards in temperature control with our range of ‘grab and go’ cabinets, we also understand the need for food display equipment to generate sales. The Multidecks are attractive units with open displays and bright lighting, available in a huge range of finishes, allowing hospitals to match the unit to their décor and style.”
Energy-saving features include LED lights and high performance insulation. Optional sliding front doors reportedly cut energy consumption by 50%, and are said to be ideal for ‘24/7’ outlets in hospitals, minimising power use during quiet periods. Optional rear doors assist with loading and restocking.
Williams will also show examples of its ‘back-of-house’ refrigeration, such as the Jade range of ‘gastronorm storage cabinets’.
