Michael Touhey MSc IEng MIHEEM MIET and EurIng Carl McKenzie BSc (Hons) CEng MCIBSE FIHEEM MASHRAE, were, at this year’s Healthcare Estates Conference in Harrogate, presented with the Northcroft Silver Medal for their Health Estate Journal article ‘Natural ventilation needs supplementing’ (HEJ, October 2006).

The Northcroft Silver Medal is awarded to the IHEEM member/s having written the Health Estate Journal article considered to have contributed most to the advancement of hospital engineering. The award is made annually and all IHEEM members are encouraged to submit potentially award-winning articles for publication in HEJ.
