Wychavon District Council has appointed Millbridge to provide project management services for a 38,750 ft2 new build health centre with primary care facilities and a 26 bed cottage hospital at Pershore in Worcestershire.
£5 million project
The £5 million project comprises a three-storey building, housing a 13 GP health centre on the ground floor and cottage hospital and administration at first and second floor levels.
The innovative development, created in conjunction with South Worcestershire PCT, is expected to complete in Autumn 2006. This follows the completion of another healthcare project for Millbridge in Bedford in May 2005 under ProCure21 on behalf of the Bedfordshire and Luton NHS Trust.
