Electiva Healthcare says it plans to open a new hospital in London in Summer 2026.
The Electiva London Hospital, a purpose-built facility on the banks of the River Thames in South West London, will set a new standard for luxury and patient-focused care, it says.
The flagship hospital will feature two state-of-the-art surgical theatres and ten bespoke bedroom suites, designed for comfort, elegance, and panoramic river views. The development has been carefully planned for convenience and accessibility, offering travel by road, river, and air, including helicopter transfers.
The hospital is projected to generate annual revenues exceeding £50 million and create approximately 300 jobs in the local area. It will offer a range of services including corrective, aesthetic, orthopaedic, and gynaecology treatments, delivered by world-class surgeons.
Sayani Sainudeen, executive chair of Electiva Healthcare, said: “This project demonstrates our commitment to pushing boundaries in healthcare technology and capability. Our mantra, We Care More, applies as much to our surgeons as to our patients, and we encourage clinicians to connect with us early.”
Brian Welsh, CEO of Electiva Healthcare, added: “This is an opportunity to create something truly exceptional and offer our patients the very best in care and experience.”
Electiva Healthcare Group operates a network of specialist facilities, including Electiva Hospitals in Manchester and Glasgow, Transform Medical Services for cosmetic, weight loss, orthopaedics, and gynaecology, La Belle Forme for advanced aesthetic medicine and plastic surgery, and Swift Surgical, a global medical consumables manufacturer and importer.
The group plans further acquisitions and new hospital developments over the next year, expanding access to modern, tech-enabled elective care nationally and internationally.
