NBBJ, a leading international firm of over 700 architects and designers, has announced the appointment of Alistair Cory as a principal with the role of heading up the healthcare team in the London studio. The company is at the forefront of healthcare planning and design globally, and Alistair Cory will be leading the expansion of the London studio healthcare business into the UK and European markets.
Appointment strengthens expansion
Alistair Cory, a professional architect and management consultant has many years of experience developing and managing complex projects, particularly in the healthcare sector. He sits on the executive committee of the RIBA link society “Architects for Health” and has also worked for consultant Mace and Schal, chiefly within a strategic role where he developed project management expertise with an emphasis on strategy, creativity and value. These skills and a successful track record in project winning, with the support of NBBJ’s global healthcare business, will help position the London Studio at the forefront of the key UK and European healthcare procurements such as major PPP/PFI projects, NHS LIFT, ProCure21 and the Independent Sector Treatment Centres (ISTC); as well as new initiatives within healthcare delivery.
