Live steam humidifier excels
Live steam humidifiers are ideal for situations where there is an existing supply of steam, such as in hospitals and laboratories, as they remove the expense of generating steam to humidify using electrode or resistive boiler type humidifiers. Also, unlike steam-to-steam humidifiers, live steam systems offer very fast response to humidification requirements and need minimal maintenance. As the Armstrong unit is capable of running at pressures up to 4 bar, it produces hotter, drier steam than other 2 bar systems. This high pressure gives an output capacity of up to 1,823 kg/h from a single unit.
