NHS Scotland Assure, NHS England, NHS Wales, and the Department of Health Northern Ireland are seeking input into Draft Water Safety Guidance (SHTM 04-01).
This consultation is intended to allow an opportunity to review potential changes to Scottish Health Technical Memorandum (SHTM) 04-01. These changes have been made following lessons learned and research undertaken since the previous version was published. The documents have been updated collectively from the four nations and will be adopted across the UK NHS as unified documents. Although the drafts refer to Scottish references, the final publications will reflect the standards in each of the nations.
BEIPI members should submit their responses directly to the Healthcare Infection Society. The deadline for submissions is 15 May.
